Appointments are entered and maintained upon the official rolls of the Battalion.Headquarters recognizes the appointments below as special duties borne upon the Battalion rolls. When Command appoints a Soldier, the Regimental Adjutant enters the appointment in the official register; when relieved, the appointment is closed while the Soldier’s permanent service record retains the period of duty.
